Based on United States Geological Survey information, Qatar generated about 63 million cubic meters of helium during 2025, representing one-third of the global output of approximately 190 million cubic meters. QatarEnergy has disclosed "substantial" infrastructure damage and declared a 14% yearly reduction in helium exports, though actual supply reduction is significantly greater considering shipping restrictions.
I ran some Geekbench 6 benchmarks to quantify the difference between the iPad Air M4 and last year’s M3 model — unsurprisingly, the biggest gains came in the GPU.
